Rineer photograph collection consists basically of exterior views and interior views of buildings at Fort McNair, Washington, D.C., and shipping and dock area on the Potomac River. There are very few captions on the photos. The new Army War College building is among the photos of the architecture of the post. There are some few photos of enlisted Engineer Corps soldiers, several in barracks interior settings.
